In May of this year I had the chance to spend time visiting the Canyon de Chelly in Arizona. This had been on my “bucket list” for many years, so when my long-time friend Lester suggested the trip I jumped at the opportunity. Combining the trip with a visit to Mesa Verde National Park and also spending a few days road-biking in the Moab area completed a very fine road trip. While the weather was challenging, with several days of severe storms, as often occurs this actually provided spectacular photographing opportunities.
