One of my favorite winter trips, climbing in Cody(South Fork ice) and Hyalite Canyon near Boseman, then onto Yellowstone for wildlife and landscape photography. Highlights this year included a climb with Dave R. of Cleopatra’s Needle (WI5), which according to “Winter Dance” is considered by many to be the best route in Hyalite. also a visit to the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to photograph the Lower and Upper Falls, plus a bonus sunrise visit of a coyote to the Travertine Terraces at Mammoth Hot Springs.
